Dr. Rajah V Koppala is an internationally qualified Interventional radiologist. A practicing Vascular Surgeon with an experience of more than 26 years, renowned for his professionalism and medical expertise he is a beacon of hope for thousands of people who are suffering from various venous insufficiencies.
He completed his MBBS and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1995. In 2001, he received his MD in Vascular Interventional Radiology from England. With impeccable academic credentials, he is also an esteemed member of the Radiological Society of North America and a fellow of The Royal College of Radiologists, UK (FRCR), the British Society of Interventional Radiology, and Singapore Radiological Society.
An American Board-Certified doctor, he also has an approved medical license from the Medical Council of India, Bermuda Medical Council, and Singapore Medical Council.
In 2003, with the emergence of SARS in Singapore, his humanitarian activities were noticed and highly appreciated by the Government. His empathy towards the people in misery earned him the President’s Medal for the Bravest Healthcare worker.
Being trained in the UK and with extensive years of experience in the USA, Dr. Koppala returned to India and in 2015, he established Avis Vascular Centre at Hyderabad. He had also been associated with Apollo Spectra Hospital, Chennai.
After a humble start at Hyderabad, Avis Vascular Centre now offers specialized medical care services to patients across various other cities. Today, the center offers services in Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Davanagere, Madurai, and Kolkata.
